🏆 NTL Prize Rules

One Prize Per Quarter

Each team may win only one prize per quarter (split). If a team qualifies for multiple categories, they receive only the highest-value prize. In all other categories they appear greyed out on the leaderboard.

Prize priority within a split (highest → lowest):

  1. 🥇 Top Quarterly (cumulative total score)
  2. 📊 Top Average Score
  3. 📅 Monday Leader
  4. 📅 Tuesday Leader
  5. 📅 Wednesday Leader
  6. 📅 Thursday Leader

One Prize Per Year

The same rule applies across the full year. A team that has already won a quarterly prize is not eligible for an additional yearly prize in a lower-priority category.

Questions? Contact your Area Manager.

Scoring

Each team may record one score per night. If a team participates in multiple games on the same night, only the highest score will count toward league standings.

The maximum league score is 131 points. Bonus points are not included in league scoring.

Prizes

Teams are eligible to win one prize per split. If a team qualifies for multiple prizes within the same split, the highest-value prize earned will be awarded.

Teams are also eligible to win one (1) yearly prize. If a team qualifies for multiple yearly prizes, the highest-value prize earned will be awarded.

Averages & Minimum Games

To be eligible for average-based rankings:

  • Split averages require a minimum of ten (10) games played within the split
  • Yearly averages require a minimum of forty (40) games played during the calendar year

League Structure

The National Trivia League season runs from January 1 through December 31 and is divided into four splits:

  • Winter Split: January 1 – March 31
  • Spring Split: April 1 – June 30
  • Summer Split: July 1 – September 30
  • Fall Split: October 1 – December 31
